» Puppetmaster - Sci-Fi is short for Science Fiction

In response to Sci-Fi is short for Science Fiction posted by SarahBHood:

Thank You!
I realize that it is a niggling point, but as humans I believe that we like classifications, it just makes more sense out of our world.
I also agree with your classifications. On a strictly anal standpoint I barely think of the original Star Wars as a sci-fi, I think of it more as a western/samurai film which happens to be set in a sci-fi setting.
Check my blog for the week, you have inspired me to whip out a list.
