» JohnnySilver - CLASS/Category

I like to think in terms of several broad classes which break down into more specific categories...e.g. (in the following list read class then category)

The X-Men--Adventure/Fantasy {comic book}
The Raiders of the Lost Ark--Adventure {period piece}
Jaws--Horror/Thriller {killer animal}
Dark City--(haven't seen it)
The Matrix--Fantasy {cyberpunk}
The Boys from Brazil--Thriller {sci-fantasy}
The Exorcist--Horror {demoniac possesion}
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen--Adventure {period piece}
Close Encounters of the Third Kind--Sci-Fi {moral fable}
The Davinci Code--Mystery/Adventure {detective}
Donnie Darko--Fantasy/Horror {psychological horror}
The Lord of the Rings--Adventure/Fantasy {sword & sorcery}
The Mummy (Boris Karloff)--Horror {classic}
The Mummy (Brendan Fraser)--Adventure/Comedy {spooky}
