» Liz1976 - Need help with a title of a horror film

Need help with the title of this film i saw in the early 80's. It was about this bloke who, with a group of friends, went to this cabin on an island to meet up with his brother and girlfriend. When they get there, there is no sign of them. They start getting killed off by this lunatic who lives in the basement of the cabin. One scene is of the dead brother and girlfriend being hung and the lunatic throwing rocks at them. Also one of the deaths is of a girl having her face ripped apart by this nutter. I loved it when i saw it and it scared the hell out of me (i was only about ten at the time). Any help gratefully appreciated. Thanks

The 80's were a very prolific time for slasher films, thanks to the realization of so many fimmakers to the fact that they were cheap to make and had the potential to generate mountains of cash (i.e. Halloween, Friday the 13th etc.).

I would really need to know the country of origin and/or who was in your movie in order to i.d. it, sorry.
