» DonJoaquin - The top 10 best horror movies, and 10 that i think is just bad.

Im from Norway so i hope you will overlook my bad spelling. But i love horror movies, but it's rather rare that i finish a movie and find my self scared, and moved by a movie. So that reflects my top 10 list here. There may be better movies than the one's i am listing, these are the movies that scared me the most at the time i saw them. And there is one rule that a horror movie must have, whit few exeptions. They have to end bad!!!

10 - Bram Stokers Dracula, a dark movie which i find as the best dracula movie made (havent seen all) and Anthony Hopkins allmost plays the most scary part in this movie as the crazy doctor.

9 - Braindead, not very scary, more like a comedy, but that doesn't make it any wors, a lovely bloody movie.

8 - Hostel, my first thought on this one was just sick, and that was what shock me, because this is a very realistic movie things like this occure, that was what made this movie so brilliant, (but surely poor acting)

7 - Seven, I have to put in this movie even thou it's not a horror movie. But it is just brilliant, and frightening enough.

6 - Jaws, saw this movie when i was 10 years old, and didn't want to take a bath fore days, still im a bitt weary when i go fore a swin in the sea.

5 - Cannibal holocaust, this movie just makes you want to kick something, it is so pervert and discusting, not so much goore as in many other cannibal movies but everything seems so real, it makes you wonder.

4 - The hills have eyes (have only seen the re make), but that was surprisingly goory for a new movie.

3 - Silence of the lambs, just a classic, and i love the ending!

2 - Saw 1! I just went to see this movie together whit a couple of friends because we were bored. And i thought that it would be a pretty lousy movie. And the acting is not much to brag about, and the movie it self i found just amusing, but it was when i came to the end that i was impressed. And the whole plot is brilliant. I found number two surprising as well, but not as geenius as the first.

1 - Shining, the ultimate best horror movie ever made, a classic. And everytime I see Nicholson in a movie i get scared, hehe.

There you have my top 10 horror movies, there are many movies that i have enjoyed watching but didn't make the list as i werent scared. But other movies i find amusing but not at all scary is the Halloween series, Freddy Crueger series, Texas chainsaw massacre, Bad Taste, and a lot of Stephen Kings novels as IT, children of the corn and so on. Evil dead, i could go on all night but i think my top 10 is final.

Now for the Horror movies who i found dull, and should never have been made. I only include newer movies, because you should expect a higher level from movies made in the last 15 years.

10. Jaws 4, do i have to say more

9. The Exorcist, (the new one) never been so dissapointed in my whole life.

8. The Ring, just stupid

7. Scream 2, more like a very bad comedy

6. Jeepers Creepers, just a sad experience!

5. The Exorcism of emely Rose, not such a bad movie but man was it boring.

4. Urban Legends 2, the first one was at least entertaining.

3. Blair wich Project 2, can't deside if the first or the second should come first but this one something actually happens, and i saw it on TV so i didn't have much expectations.

2. Blair Wich Project, i were so f.... mad when i saw this movie. What the f..... was the fuzz.... about it. Nothing happend in the entire movie and i saw it alone in the dark and it didn't scare me even ones. redicilus

1. The grudge 2, The worst 90 minutes of my whole life. why make movies like this, we are in 2006 godt damit. I were so f.... angry when i went out of the cinema after seeing this crap that i allmost asked for my money back.

I can list up a bunch of following up movies that perhaps are even worse than many of these, But these movies dissapointed me so badly that they are on my list. And i didnt list up, tradic movies like Killer tomatos, critters, and those sortes of movies because i found them entertaining.
